Here is what I know....There is no charge for the website. You can view some areas of the new site such as member uploaded pictures and videos, but in order to chat, use the forum, or upload your own pictures and videos and have access to the IDDA Garage(tips, tricks etc) you have to be a member of the IDDA.
There is a SMALL fee to be a member of the IDDA now. It is 7cents a day which is $24.95/yr. Heck, even I can afford 7cents a day, i can find that in my couch! LOL..!

You can change your password. But all the boxes have to be filled in. If you don't want to show something, just type in, none. Or something like that. I hope they get the bugs worked out soon.

I talked to Jason and here is the word...
If you made a donation to keep the IDDA website online, a member account has been set up for you and an attempt was made to contact you to provide you with login information.
If you did not receive that info you need to send an email to webmaster@derbypro.com and provide the following:
1) Your name 2) Email address 3) Your username 4) Valid telephone#
Otherwise, if you want to be a member of the new IDDA and have access to everything, you will need to click the Join link on the site and go through the registration and payment process and you will have intstant access.
Hope this helps.

i gave money back when the site was gonna close before,so now that they up graded it i have to give again? I did too , back when Sam was still in charge . Then I was a memeber of the "BOD". No special perks . I got no new codes to be able to enter anything other than being able to use Steve Bucknam's name & password to see what I had already seen when I was a gold member before . Bitter ? Oh yes I'm bitter . Chances are that I will not rejoin the IDDA right now . I may later on , maybe . Oh yes , I was a moderator in the chatroom too . BTW for those of you still deciding whether or not to join the IDDA and be able to use the chatroom you can come join us in another chatroom , no it's not the wecrash chat either . Here it is : [ftp]http://client1.sigmachat.com/sc.php?id=108762[/ftp] It's the free version . BTW it belongs to wagonKiller .

I'm getting more and more confused. I didn't realize we had to pay. But I'm having trouble on the site anyway, so maybe I missed that. Jason did help me figure out how to change my password. And I'm having problems with the different windows/threads. Everytime I click on a new thread, or subject, it opens in the middle or bottom of the page. And then I have to scrool up, to see the latest entry. And I also have to use the slider bars, way more, than I use to. It's like the site has wider/longer borders. Anybody else having this problem?

Well it's like this, They kept all in the dark about the whole process even those who donated did not know when it changed over there would be a PPV theme. Someone was in my chat last night claiming to be jason and someone named william nelson the new vice president? WHO THEE F$#K are you pal?(especially someone who claims to have been behind the scenes for years in the running of the IDDA yet NEVER heard of me???) (Oh and i told him i always wanted to meet willie nelson and burn a fatty with him LOL!!!) Well this new dude says well jason has been working for years for free on this site and i AM NOT WORKING FOR FREE!! like i said dude WHO THEE F%$K are you?i have no problem paying jason whatsoever,i do however have a problem with paying any nimblef**k i have never seen or met on the site a friggin dime!Sam dargo yes, jason yes, you dude can blow it out your ass! Better yet where thee hell were you when amy and the rest of the BOD was fielding questions from the membership because YOU were not available!(and why weren't they informed of your PPV intentions!) So you say "oh you all agreed to it back in may"? like we all read every forum in it's entirety every day? YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING! Given everyone at least 3 days notice(yea they would have bitched and complained but they would have paid and been members!) or Given a 3 day grace period free tour that is actually a TOUR and not an advertisment! Maybe had you kept people informed and active in your decisions(BOD) They could have helped you make the right decision.as it is you have REALLY alienated the main body of members(you know the ones who put most of the info up there to begin with FREE) As for the chat you have no right making it Pay for use.YOU DID NOT PAY FOR IT! Amy did to keep it free and active for our members.(once again you slap in the face those who took the brunt of abuse from members when YOU WERE NOT TO BE FOUND to reply to thier questions!) And appearantly it's attendance is down a tad seeing as you were in MY chat trying to recruit and explain yourself last night!( Looks like ya need to change that header ya got from Best damn derby chat on the web to USED to be the best!) As for all members and former members i will be laid off soon and will start working on my site more, they just expanded the storage(oh and by the way i did send that info to the IDDA people so we could stay free)and all are welcome any time.on the site or in the chat.It needs improvement but it is free and will stay free! And you can speak your mind! Now you FINALLY see who is FOR the drivers! Jason YOU have some explaining to do and tell willie buttf&*K to stay home.He has no business saying anything about anything or being in any position in the IDDA,He can go back to hiding because untill he thought he was goin to make some money off our members he didn't show his presence anywhere! Be prepared saturday. I will. PS Oh and thank you for the attendance boost on my site the last 3 days i just checked lol!!! Anyone who would like to be part of my site and/or help is welcome. and any ideas are encouraged!

Hey wagonkiller what is your site I will add a link from my site. I also Have a free chat and forum on my website if anyone is intrested. It will also remain free. I believe I still have the chat if not I will re add it. I highly doubt that I will re join the IDDA just for the simple fact the whole left in the dark then poof now you gotta pay. As of right now there is no sense in rejoining like someone said before maybe later in the future.. But there are enough free sites where I can get info. MY website is www.shortfuseracing.comPlease feel free to use it whenever you feel. nikki

There are too many free sites for the IDDA to think people are gonna pay to join. I see this as the fall of the IDDA. They have outdone themselves and become the few that chased the #s up at the DDDA.

Nikki my chat is the link above that shorty included in his post.Feel free to link the chat to your site if yours is no longer there.you are more than welcome to.Thats what Amy and i were gonna do when Idda was supposed to go down before. www.runboard.com/bdemo77 is my site mind you there IS profanity in some sections but ONLY if you go in and turn that option on.Like you all know i feel freedom of speech is just that. And it gives the members the opertunity to vent as they see fit. oh and by the way i was wrong about the expanded version at my website the expanded is $10.00 whopping dollars a year!!!!!!!!!

Photo Uploads, Streaming Video, Creating Your Own Profile and Storing Your Photos and Videos (Dashboard). None of that was ever there before just to mention a few right off the top of my head.
I see why Sam quit, half the people don't appreciate the time and effort put into it. I can't believe Jason even bothers to try to do anything anymore since so many people don't give him the credit for working his ass off to make the site nice.
Anybody can build their own site with the free and cheesy site maker tools out there. It is obvious alot of time was put in to totally rebuild the entire site. So, yes I would say you missed something, but if all you do is visit the forum...then no, you won't notice that much of a change.

You want to know why ? well do you ? IIRC , because everyone said they'd follow when he lead , but when turned around . No one was there . That's ! Why Sam walked . Sam had some really big plans , good plans , went out on a limb more than 1 time , devoted all he could . But ! No one followed . Left up to his arse in debt with very little support for the so-called derby pro memebers . Now then don't go getting things twisted here . The truly devoted ones did follow . Those who couldn't or was unable to walk behind him gave him moral support . I'll be the first to admit . I couldn't support him , not financially , and believe me I did try .

Well to all the above you can rest at ease , Jason has turned it back into a free website . He's tryinvg to run it off the annuities from the sponsors he has masked . Good job Jason .
However on a personal note . I have , myself threatened to leave the idda on several occasions . Maybe it's time I take some time to think things over . Maybe it's time for me to move on with what I have going in my life and let it be done at that . Oh ! I'll stay here . I gave my word to help out , and I intend to keep as long as I can .
Wags ! see you at your chatroom , and anyone else that wants me .

I guess I was a bit over zealious in my opinion again when I posted . However no matter . It can't honestly mean that much to him , it was getting out of control anyway with people posting cars & parts forsale in the forums and all . Now there's " F%8ktheidda" posting in the forums saying join wecrash . He prolly won't do a darn thing about that either . I offered at 1 time to moderate the forums keeping the truest part in the forums at heart like they were supposed to be . Lmao ! I got turned down , no biggy though .
