dadicated,
please tell me the chain on the hood is not just tied in a knot and you just forgot to take it off when you unloaded the car
ya the paint man is bad azz , i had a car identical in color, it would have done better if someone didnt loosen up ha ya right take out all my bottom washers and throw them on my back floor boards since then i learned put a nice tack weld on the ends of the allthread so even if they cant get it off you can still use it for what its worth

well the chain is a long story, but i will shorten it. i had wire holding half of each door shut and chain the rest of the way. the hood was attached by the firewall to the hindges, and by the ready rod up front. i was going to wire the hood down the rest of the way, but they made me cut all my wire for my doors b/c they wanted chain not wire. so i couldnt run wire to hold my hood shut any more so what we did was we took the log chains that held the car on the trailor and chained the hood shut, but had alot of excess so we wrapped it up and wired it to itself.

not yet but i still have the car on the trailer i will get some pics of it to put up here. i ran it twice and then let my father in law run it the last time he hadnt derbied in 4 years. the back bumper was in the back window after the second derby pulled it out then in the last derby it took a hell of a doghouse shot ripped the master cylinder and breather off and bent the header over and crushed the valve cover got to love those ford fenders

Looks like a couple good cars there guys! The Linc looks to be in pretty good shape. The wagon looks like it might have some rust. Make sure you check the floors to see if they're in goos shape. And, if allowed, use a torch and find all the outside body seams, an melt the lead out of them. Then weld them. Good luck to you both!

Yes Shorty the 92 has it but as told the 97 up dont have any stampings HD or STD. The 02 is a P71 code with all the braces and the heavy suspension.
