if its a 71-73 change the front bumper. sedagon it if u can. build a good set of leafs and strong suspention. obviously put a 74-76 pala or 76 olds bumper on it if u can.

In the side rear windows run 9 wire to the 1/4s if you cant sedagon to hold it together.

weld all body seems, build up leafs, solid shock, set on the ground in the back , they cant get a hit on u , solid to frame , depending on tech plate ;D hope this helps 753 ;D

Set the rear low so you hit and get hit on the body not the frame.

put washers on the bumper towers on bolt on bumper brakets on indise of frame so they wont rip off and weld 753 ;D

easy way to chain the humps and pull the rear down. take a bolt and drill it threw the top of the hump. run the bolt threw one end of the chain wrap it around the axel and put the other end back threw the bolt. if u can weld the bolt inplace. do this w/ either a few friends on the bumper or tailgate or something else to push the rear down so its tight.

You can also SLOWLY heat the rear leaf eyelets and let the weight of the car bend the leaf down till it touches the frame. Dont get the leaf too hot though.

jeff, what is a good rear bumper hieght? right now it is setting at around 16ins without the humps chained. front bumper hieght will be ran at 20in. what do you think??

There is no "set" bumper height for the rear I don't think. All you need is to make sure your rear bumper is under any and all other car's bumpers.

well setting this car level is not an option. i cant afford to buy a new set of leaf spring to meet the mm rules, so the car is going to look alittle funny.
