turn springs upsidedown and solid shock it ,weld wherever u can,drop body bolt rubbers, put a better bumper on front, monte carlo, any good steel bumper stick front spring eye inside frame, kick shacles, hammer in back quarters so they go in not explode out . hope this helps 753 ;D

notch the rear, change front bumpers. use the rear more than anything. dont get to hard of a front bumper or it will go up to fast.

I have only run 1 of these and no matter what I did it snowplowed even with a prebend.

You can prebend all you want. If you dont notch it, the prebend wont help. Unless you plate the hump up.

i have pre-bent a few times,and had real goodluck every time.real hard. i used a big john deer excavator. i never plated just pre bent right were it starts going down.

if u can leaf these cars they will tear up about any other car alive except for a imp. the roundys are in danger as well if these are leafed.

I leafed an 80's wagon. let's just say I should have boxed the entire frame. car was shaped like a "v".

86 caprice, custom brackets to frame. raised body till rear was off ground, used comealong to pull leafs through to mounts-this put a lot of pressure on spring, but still went in. Ran in county fair-lots of old well built iron. rear was perfect ram, front ok-going up, next time I need to pay more attention to rest of frame. Got door hit and seat belt retractor broke 2 rear ribs. pulled motor+trans, scrapped car--thing was bad luck anyway--wrong color-red

I put the back steel bumper off of one of these cars on the front and welded the outer skin to the inner, you think this will be a strong enough bumper?

Yup welded these can be strong bumpers.
