I have a 1975 Oldsmobile cutlass 4 door with an olds350/turbo400. All around this car to what i know and think it is a pretty dang good car but since it is my first car that i am going to run I want to build it to the hilt and do good. there's no reason to take a really good car to a derby when you could put a little extra time into it and make it a tank. So if u can give me any good advise or things i can do to it it would be appreciated. My car is the one that is black with a 47 on the side photobucket.com/albums/c222/Foltzy47/

well, u will have to do most of the regular stuff. get a good front bumper. take the plucks out, replace them w/ bigger bolts and washers/plates. build a good cage. v-tuck and dimple the rear. weld all the seams solid if u can. inside and out. weld the frame seams if u can. use the sise factor u have to ur advantage. make precision shots not brute force ones. this isnt a imperial by anymeans, but still a decent car.

You can use the stock bumper just collapse the shocks and weld er up good. I run one with the Olds motor and she was good with that.

Matt.....Size factor? ACTUALLY Matt, the Cutlass like the Monte/Malibu/Century/Lemans. Smaller cars, but still tough as nails.

yea size factor. i ran a lemans and it fell apart when i tried to work agentst a shocker and roundback. thats why i say make precision hits. and i wish i had some comeback to the actually matt thing. lol.
