got one ?? they any good? its all there clean and rust free. where do ya knoch it has the frame that goes behind the wheels? i know its small but its fast lol wont go in reverse yet has all 3 forward any ideas?? thanks

This car is soft, and no good for a derby. The good years for Malibu's is 73-77. Ya missed it by 1 year.

Depends on rules and his intentions. Might be junk for some shows and fine for others. If it was just a for fun local fair show and the price was right it is a good car to play with. Nice fast go have fun build and low buck. Just because it isn't prime old school iron doesn't mean it is junk just means it has to be built and handled a little different. Is it the premier car of the sport.............nope. Can it be built and ran and live long enough to have fun and maybe take a heat...............................yeah. Just depends on the situation and the builders intentions. I ran a fullsize FWD caddy that I built in like two weeks with the aluminum motor in it. Is it a good derby car....................no, but I did have a blast and took 3rd in it running with with old iron . So my vote on this one is it just depends. Is it going to kick asws against old iron...probably not but doesn't mean won't be a decent car.
