Gary, If you'll excuse the pun, it looks like it was a cool car . And hard! I don't know the story behind it yet. Steve

it was a very cool car as the snow PURELY shows. and MAYBE you noticed the one spectator looking over the car, see how HES dressed LMAO. I posted the whole story under General threads, Turkey smash on the other place Steve. and it was hard.....VERY hard, teh guy driving it used the rear ONCE then used nothing but the front and the damn thing NEVER bent!

I was looking over the Raptor shifter . I thought they cut more material than that . I guess , I'm gonna have to rethink those shifters .

It was a monster of a car but I still would like to know what happened to it why did it just die. Didn't matter to me cause I can't stand the guy that was driving it but that is a local topic that I won't say anything about.

According to the builder, Ben Haust, the coil seems to have took a crap on him. he got the car home, threw a new coil on it and it fired right up so. I guess thats how it goes sometimes.

one thing i would've done different was not cut the hood the way he did, that makes it too weak, with some althread, them hoods do add more strenght.

this car was built as a spectator car, he wasnt gonna pour his heart and soul into it for free, he did a DAMN good jump. INFACT the guy that won it used the nose the whole time and it didnt bend. ON TOP of that, there are NO after pictures. My camera was too cold to work and I was too cold to go down and take them afterwards. he COuld have tucked the trunk but I guerss he just didnt feel the need to Gary

Raffle car. It was built and a drawing was held to find it a driver. Normally a raffle car goes straight to the feature. Tickets get sold, car gets raffled ,and driver goes straight to feature. Would be sweet to win that and take a clean car to the feature. A clean Imp with a free pass to the feature would be a fun toy to have. There is going to be a pretty sweet raffle car at the mangled metal show from what I hear. Going to be a bubble top Vic built as if King were going to drive it himself. It is getting his built SBC, tranny ,and rear in it.
