does anybody remember how after 9/11 just about every known country artist come up with songs about it, but i aint heard the first song about katrina and the devistation it left

very true. kind of hard to run down mother nature i guess.also kinda funny how there's still places down there that are unfit to live in but you never here it on the news.

it seems like we've been forgotten about, i hope that nobody ever has to see some of the things that happened after that storm, and when there is something on tv about it all they can talk about how bad new orleans got it, all they had was flood damage, mississippi gulf coast and i think alabama had wind, water, tornado damage, i've been to both the miss gulf coast and to new orleans, there's only about 2 or 3 blocks in new orleans where the levees broke that looks like the whole coast, but the houses that were by the levee just got pushed down the street, on the coast there aint nothing left but a big pile of scrap lumber, and alot of houses got swept out into the gulf on cmt the awards they did have a thing about the storm at the end of the show but aint nobody actually made any songs or anything about it
