hey just wanted to know what other people have for rules on what is a compact. Here its 103 wheel base 2900 pds or 105 wheel base ... and no v8's in them....

2 places i run are 104'' 4cyl only, 1 other that i run has a 103'' with 4 or 6cyl .

different places around here have different rules here's some possibilities -108" (4 or 6) -factory 4 cylinder (any wheelbase) -103" (4 only)---no amc or volvo

anything 4 cly hear yeah! even volvo station wagons! yeah it sucks to go aganist them with one of them out they they have about 20 screaming metros and fiestva coming at them

Here I think it's 103" and less. Some places let you run v-8's in em and some places it's only 4 and 6's. Either way Amc's rule the roost. Most notably the Spirits/Eagles.

I know, in the Marion Co. fair (ohio) that you can use a V8 if the car originally had that as an option (mustangs, AMC's). I am not sure about the wheel base though.
