May 14th and October 14th 2006 Lake Geneva Raceway, Lake Geneva WI. (847) 707-4188 for info.
**************FAIR CLASS*********************
These rules are based off DDDA RULES, found on www.wecrash.com. We at Darkhorse Racing believe these rules to be fair for all competitors, allowing a reasonable build up, but also allowing less experienced drivers to have a chance to compete and win. These rules apply to metric body cars (see detailed list of acceptable cars below) running at all Darkhorse Racing County Fair shows and in Lake Geneva Raceway Fair Class events. These rules DO NOT apply to Super Modified cars, Mini cars, Urban Assault Vehicles, or Super Urban Assault Vehicles.
************************************************************************
Rules of Competition
• All drivers must be 16 years old or older and possess a valid driver’s license. Ages 16 –17 must have a notarized permission slip and some form of driver’s license. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PITS FOR ANY REASON. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS
• No one allowed in the pits or on the track without a pit pass.
• No drugs or alcohol are allowed in the pits. Any driver or crew member caught using or possessing drugs or alcohol will be barred from competition for 1 year, forfeit any prize money, and lose their entry fee.
• All vehicles must pass tech inspection before being allowed on the track.
• Any driver qualified for the feature event whose vehicle is junk may run a different vehicle in the feature, as long as the vehicle he selects has been run in competition on the same day at the same event.
• 3 heat race winners from each heat get paid $30 & a trophy each. Top 3 heat-race vehicles from each heat go to the feature. Any vehicle not qualified for the feature may compete in the consolation race. Top three cars from the consolation race may then advance to the feature. Top 3 spots in each feature get paid 1st - $600, 2nd - $300, and 3rd - $150.
• All vehicles must have title and/or notarized bill of sale to compete. No exceptions. Drivers must submit title/bill of sale and entry fee at time of entry. When drivers pick up their cars and are headed home after competition, title/bill of sale will be returned to driver.
• No profanity is to be displayed on a vehicle. This is a family show. Keep it clean.
• Numbers must be VERY easily read by the officials (no brown numbers on a black door). Make them easy to see.
• Numbers can be reserved at pre-registration (Lake Geneva Raceway ONLY) or you will be allowed to choose your number at the time of registration.
• No hitting driver’s/passenger door. We understand that accidents happen. If it’s an accident and there are no injuries (love tap), the race goes on. If you are under throttle when contact is made, and it appears to be an intentional door shot, the driver making the hit will be disqualified. No second chances. Consider this the only warning you’ll get!
