i'm 17 years old, i know it's not the best car to get but i work at a gas station and my boss's brother owns a junkyard and i got it for free. I am totally new to demo's, it will be my first one. it's on the 19th. at my track the only welding you can do is on the drivers door and the bumpers. you have to drain all the anti-freeze. so should i put water in it with that be cool additive? i've been searching the forum for a few days now, i learned take the locks out, roll the front fenders up, liquid nail the tire beads. i don't understand banging in the front fenders to make it so they don't hit the door and cutting the headlight holes in the rad support, could someone explain this to me? i plain on bolting all of the door's shut since welding is not an option. is there anything else i should know, or do to the car?

I'm just guessing that your running the stock motor . by that I would definately run water , with water wetter . No anti-freeze here . Beating on the front fenders is to straighten the body panels and make it tougher . Cutting the headlight buckets is a way of folding them over to toughen the front ends . In the trunk area there is a brace that is located on the back side of the fender well . Cut it out . It goes diagonally down towards the bumper . It will only aid in pushing the assend down.
