Some of the tips, in the 58-64 section, can be used for these also. One thing, is to torch/wirewheel the top fender seams, and then weld them, if allowed.

another thing i dont know if this is common or it just happends to us but we ran one last year made a few hits and broke the main leaf in the reaar and out popped the drive shaft

tuck, notch or dimple the rear. short stack it and let the rear pack in. use it about once and then use the front the rest of the time. if u can put a pointy bumper up front and weld it strait to the frame. if u do this i would find a hood that over laps and beat it down in front of ur radiator.

put gm a arms in place of spindles, lincolns to weak, also change leafs over to 3/4 ton, then move the rear of the spring back as far as u can and still get the clearance allowed, this allows rear-end to come up so far then stop, then it doesn't move at all
