I quit running where promoters either have their "favorite" drivers/teams, or just have bad inspectors. It just took all the fun out of the derby, to try and build a legal car, and then have it pounded into junk, by cheated cars. And I don't mean stuff with a little more weld, etc. I'm talking extra pipe/steel, loaded frames, etc. I don't like to do that. The one time I did, I really hated myself for doing it. And I got caught. So I was really embarrassed! So I just stopped doing the local derbys, and drove in the upper state. Some of you can't/won't do that. So if you feel good, about building a car, to compete with the cheaters, go for it! I just got tired, over the years, of going up against cheaters. So I took my fun, farther away.

thats cool stris but like i said before what if u can only run 1/2 derbies a year because the same thing goes on further away ? down here its hard to get away from is all , there is finaly a inspecting team though that is good down here , so like i said if i can build a car to the max according to the rules then i wont cheat , cause i hate all the work u got too put in them when u do 753 ;D

753, going back to what you said about my post, I think you mis-understood me. In MY opinion, the only time you cheat is when you INTENTIONALLY break the rules. If you read the rules, and you try to build your car within the rules, you're not cheating - although other people will say you are (they always do). I build my car in the grey area. but I dont do anything that I would call another driver a cheater for. The things I do I consider legal, so Im not a cheater. If I did something that I thought I would have to hide, I wouldnt consider myself legal.
